What's included, and what it costs
Every build includes the pages we plan together, the mobile layouts, the SEO and Google verification, a contact form, and the favicon and share image. If the scope changes partway through, I quote it before I do the work, never after.
When it's finished, it's all yours: the code, the domain, and the content, handed over with a short walkthrough so you know how it fits together. Host it wherever you like, and I'll help you get it live.
Want a blog or a projects page you can keep up to date yourself? I can build that part so you can edit it directly. The rest of the site stays fixed: no dashboard to learn, nothing to break.
Questions people ask
Do I have to write all the words myself?
No. Tell me about your business in plain terms and I'll draft the copy for you to check and change. If you'd rather write it yourself, that works too.
What if I want changes after it's live?
You get a one-week follow-up period after launch for minor changes, like updating text. After that, send me what you need and I'll quote the cost before I start. If you expect to update a section often, ask me to build it as a page you can edit yourself.
Do you host the site?
No, on purpose. You set up the hosting in your own name so you're never locked in. I'll walk you through it (about a 15-minute job) and get the site live for you.
How long does it take?
Most small sites are built in 2 to 4 days. After that, we spend up to a week going back and forth on any changes you want. Altogether, the site is usually live and in your hands within 2 to 3 weeks, and you'll get a firm date with the quote.
What if I want to move it later?
Everything is already yours: the code, the domain, and the content. There's no account of mine to cancel. If you want to move to a different host, the process is straightforward, and you can look it up yourself or ask me for help. Sites built this way work well with Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, GitHub Pages, or any regular web host that lets you upload files.
